So, I thought I would be getting a new house in Kansas City for Christmas this year.  Alas, that was not the timing that was meant to be for our family.  And even though it’s been difficult to be in limbo, it’s been wonderful to have a little extra time with our friends here–and to get to spend one more Christmas with them.

But that left the whole issue of my gift.  If you can’t have the new house you wanted, what is the only worthwhile consolation prize?  Obviously, it’s getting to photograph your family.  And so I did.

It is with a sad heart that I announce that my family, and consequently my portrait business, is moving to Kansas City in a couple of months. While I have heard nothing but good things about the area, and I know that the move will bless my family, I am sad to leave all of my wonderful clients and friends of the past four years. I want to thank each of you for allowing me into your lives to capture beginnings and milestones, love and laughter in your families. Thank you so much for your kindness and for your business – I have the best clients in the world:).
