I first met Emma when she was a wee 4 days old. How much they change in one short year! It was just delightful to have her back in the studio for her 1-year portraits. After such an easy newborn session (I don’t even remember her making a peep), I knew we’d capture some beautiful images. She was a bit of a tough nut to crack at first, but mom assured me that would all change once she pulled out the cake. Moms always know best.

Are you able to say if you use white seamless with a PS treatment or if this is a cream backdrop? If you were ever to share a guide on how you light your studio portraits I’d be really interested.
Thanks so much, Lisa. The backdrop is actually just the wall of my studio (Muslin by Sherwin Williams, I think) and for the lighting I use a strobe in a Westcott 50×50 softbox and feather it in front of the subject. Hope that helps:).
